Our meetings offer a great chance to meet other members, find out more about upcoming events and activities and to get involved. While our official meeting typically runs from 8-9pm feel free to come early (7:30pm) and stay late to socialize and for a late happy hour. For the March 25th meeting, our chapter will be hosting several judges from the Baltimore County Circuit Court. In addition, we will be inviting members from our neighboring chapters and will be promoting it as an opportunity the meet our special guests.

April 24, 2010 | Maryland Hunt Cup
Put on your pink and green and
join us at Hunt Cup, a Maryland (and now a TJC) tradition. It's an
off-track four mile horse race with twenty-two fence jumps. The
racecourse is in Worthington
Valley and the scenery is incredible. It's the perfect place for an
afternoon of tailgating and picnicking
while watching the races. We carpool to the event from a location in

May 1st & 2nd, 2010 | Towsontown Spring
Festival Beer GardenFor more than 30 years the Towson Junior Chamber has sponsored this very popular venue. With the addition of 98 Rock 12 years ago, this has become the place to be for live music. We welcome you to attend the festival and visit the beer garden, but we are also looking for active participants and volunteers to help with the event. While we need many people to help us with this project, it is very fun for everyone involved; so much so that Junior Chamber chapters from throughout the state send members to help.

Please join us for a fun filled day of snow tubing in York PA. This low key event has been a ton of fun for all. Make sure to dress to keep warm and dry. Those wishing to carpool are going to meet at 10:00am at the Starbucks on Dulaney Valley Road in Towson (the one by the Superfresh). If they would rather meet us in York PA, then the directions are as follows: Take I-83 north to Exit 18, Mount Rose Avenue. Off the exit, bear to the right and proceed for 1 mile to the resort located on the right. Avalanche Express website.

Start the weekend off right with your friends. The Happy Hour this month will be at 7 West, a relatively new restaurant and bar located on Chesapeake Avenue in Towson.

November 23, 2009 | Senior Citizens Thanksgiving Dinner
For more than 30
years the Towson Junior Chamber has hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for
senior citizens in our community. Come be a waiter for an hour or so
and enjoy the scene. Your help is definitely appreciated be everyone
there. And, don't forget about set-up on Sunday afternoon! The location
is changing this year because of construction at our regular site.

Denver Broncos game. It's a 1:00
game and we'll be meeting at a local bar. Stay tuned for details, and

had the chance to visit Gettysburg since you were a cub scout? Don't
feel deprived, neither have most of us, so come on out. Our plan of
attack: We're meeting in Towson and carpooling into Yankee territory.

August 15, 2009| TUBING TRIP!!
On Sunday, Aug. 16th we are planning to go tubing on the Gunpowder River (dependent on the weather.) The trip takes 1 hour 30 minutes and costs $15 to rent a tube if you don't have one. We are going to meet at 1:00 pm at the Starbucks on Dulaney Valley Rd. across from the Towson Town Center. Please contact me if you are interested in going so we can contact you about the weather that day.

This month's meeting will begin our summer tradition . . .we're takin' it outside*!! We will be meeting behind the American Legion at the picnic tables and ball field. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs w/ chips however, please feel free to bring any additional items you may like. Hopefully, we'll have enough takers to start a pickup game of wiffle ball.

tradition. The four mile, twenty-two fence racecourse in Worthington
Valley is the perfect place for afternoon of tailgaiting and picnicing

The Baltimore County Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held this year at the newsly dedicated Olympic Park at the corner of York and Allegheny in the heart of Towson. Please note: this is an event of the Towson Chamber and we may provide assistance if needed. The tree will be lit at 6:30, stop by to see the hard work that the Towson Junior Chamber has put in to hanging the lights on the trees throughout downtown Towson, and enjoy some good fun (and free parking!!)
